iFACTS Facility is a comprehensive register with support for activities such as inspections, surveys, checklists, non-conformities and risk assessments. Part of the iFACTS Governance platform, an easy to use web based tool.

How it works

In addition to traditional facility registers, iFACTS Facility supports a wide variety of governance activities.
Using Facility terminology, supporting loss prevention, systematic fire protection, environmental debt, inspections, risk assessments etc.
Web technology helps the Facility responsible with documentation and analysis. Some work steps might be done by external experts such as calculating EML or performing inspections.
All information, including performance scores is available for management and audit providing important reports for governance and decision making.
By following this systematic approach and information structure, Facility data is transparent and available for other stakeholders. Value chains can be visualised and weak links identified.
Implementation and roll out can be done instantly with high efficiency using web technology.

The tools and techniques

Several iFACTS tools and techniques are used to manage the facilities in a systematic and uniform manner.
Inventory. A series of information gathering steps to document the Facility such as responsibilities, roles, classification, applicable laws.
Check & controls. Web-based tool to create questionnaires such as inspection checklists.
Risk assessment. Scenario based risk assessment tool.
Requirement library. Requirements are generated based on classification and applicable laws.
Objectives and measurement. Objectives such as KPIs can be created and connected to a measurement session, for example monthly measurement of power outputs.
Dependency mapping. The dependency component is used to connect assets to other parts in the value chain such as IT, business process or material sourcing.
Non-conformity. This function is used to manage all deviations and non-conformities. These are integrated in the Event module and monitored for follow-up and action such as management approval.
Reports. A dynamic component to create various report templates for several governance objectives.
