iFACTS INSMAN - Claims Management - To report, handle and monitor claims. Claims are handled in the Claims portal displaying claims information, reports, statistics, latest viewed and communication center. Example of claims activities and information accessible in the claims portal:
Claims can be registered for any type of insurance line. When the claim is registered it is connected to insurance policy, company and contact person. Information about the claim is entered such as description, location, type, estimated cost, bank account # etc. The claims handler continues to administrate the claim, registering payments, assigning loss adjuster and communicates with the reinsurer. The claim will continue to be active until the final payment is done and then the claim is closed.
